Overview
Full-stack developer and architect on a self-service portal that orchestrates customers into a secure identity-verification flow via a third-party provider over OAuth, with a React / Chakra UI and a Kubernetes-ready deployment.
Challenge
- Orchestrate customers into a secure third-party identity-verification flow.
- Handle OAuth, person creation, tagging, and verification triggers reliably.
- Keep the experience simple while the backend does sensitive work.
Approach
- Built the Flask API and the OAuth orchestration to the verification provider, with secret masking and health checks.
- Built the React form, validation, responsive layouts, and animated verification overlays.
- Shipped multi-stage Docker, Nginx runtime env injection, and Kubernetes-ready, multi-environment deployment.
Outcomes
- Delivered a self-service KYC entry point integrated with downstream compliance systems.
- Hardened logging with secret masking and added health checks.
- Made the portal Kubernetes-ready across environments.
